Location: We Serve the Tri-County Area in Central Oregon, Office in Bend, OR
Type: Full and Part Time Positions Available
Salary: $25.00-$28.00 Depending on Experience
Job Summary:
The Hero Makers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Parent Coach to support and guide parents and children at risk of experiencing child abuse. Created for The Hero Makers by Ignite The ideal candidate should have profound knowledge in psychology, child development, or human services, with a commitment to enhance the lives of at-risk children and families by providing tailored support and services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field of study AND
Five years' experience working with parents and children at risk of experiencing child abuse.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in Simple Practice and other relevant systems.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to multitask.
Responsibilities:
Records Review: Review client's records and plans to determine appropriate services and reach out to leadership when questions arise.
Intake Assessment: Complete one intensive individual intake assessment with each adult involved io tailor the training curriculum.
Parent Skills Training: Work collaboratively with clients to celebrate their success and ensure transition support.
Coordination of Care: Provide services with clients and other providers, teaching parents effective communication and active listening skills.
Report according to Program Outcome Measures as dictated in ODHS contract and follow proper reporting requirements for ODHS.
Attend Coordination of Care meetings and support clients in advocating for themselves and their children.
Attend all Team Meetings as needed and maintain calendar and write reports in Simple Practice.
Be proficient in all other systems with The Hero Makers and respond timely to email/text and phone communication.
Substitute when needed for other clients and follow the Parent Coach code of ethics in all interactions with clients and families.
Conflict Resolution: Reach out to leadership to work through a solution in case of conflict with a client.
Be a champion of The Hero Makers organization and culture.
Administration Assistant

Type: Part Time Hybrid Position Available
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 Depending on Experience
Job Summary:
The Hero Makers is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to support our organization and enhance our office operations. The individual will be responsible for maintaining client filing systems, creating files, ensuring all documents are uploaded and up to date, assisting with scheduling, preparing for meetings and trainings, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Experience and Skills:
· Proficiency in Office 365 – Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams specifically.
· Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and support staff in this area. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate on a team.
· Prior administrative experience and working knowledge of office equipment.
· Ability to anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain files for new clients
Ensure all referral documents are uploaded in system
Maintain updated and secure files & paperwork in system
Send out intake paperwork and assist clients in completing documents
Create business documents as assigned and within indicated timeline
Assist in the collection, organization, and follow-up of data for projects
Assist in Answering phones, booking appointments, and setting appointments for staff members
Assist as a point of contact for clients, managing communication via phone, e-mail, and mail professionally and politely
Invoicing and collections of past due invoices
Bi-Weekly Timesheets Review
Maintaining office cleanliness
